October 2018 | LAFAYETTE PLAZA PARK
encased: presented
This themed work is the culmination of our 2018 Art Moves Project.
Encased: Presented is brought to life through the collaboration of Yukie Fujimoto, No Strings Attached Dance Company, Lara Dutto and Marquisse Moore. This work asks: “What Surrounds Us?” “What Surrounds You?”
Encased: Presented studies and explores our sense of place and displacement both as individuals and as a community through a combination of movement, sound and material objects. Encased also includes an audience writing element to capture our voices, leaving behind a physical, literary footprint of the performance installation.
